We are looking for a passionate, motivated Lead WordPress Developer expert in custom theme & plugin development as well as Divi and Elementor, who is always eager to produce world-class work for premium clients. The developer will be collaborating with the team to upgrade the existing technology stacks. This will be a full-time onsite position that can lead to long-term opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead website development for projects, working alongside a team of developers in creating, maintaining, and updating the client’s websites.
• Oversee the development of website redesign projects by working closely with other internal developers.
• Direct the team on sprint requirements and output.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
• Troubleshoot for website issues and bugs, brainstorm options and provide client-friendly explanations for solutions.
• Lead the strategy for new web projects to develop the proposed sitemap, wireframes, and user flows, based on the client’s needs
• Complete the front-end development tasks, including website maintenance, plugin updates, CSS improvements, and post-creation.
• Collaborate directly with designers to implement designs and provide feedback if necessary.
• Ensure the websites are client-friendly and have an intuitive back-end to allow for easy content and page updates
• Work closely with clients or stakeholders to understand project requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience of 4+ years in WordPress development, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• 2+years of previous experience in a leadership or managerial role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have experience with Divi, Elementor, Visual Composer, etc
• Experience with customization of Gravity forms / ACF / Woocommerce etc.
• Experienced with AJAX, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
•  Experience with WordPress Hooks & Filters
• WordPress plugin development
• Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and Website Optimization
• Ability to clearly understand design requirements.
• Planning, building, and launching websites.

• Git & SVN
• GULP / Grunt or similar compilers
• SASS / LESS
• Experience creating end-user documentation for website applications.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team.
• Familiarity with web servers and deploying code with GitHub.
